HIPPO BRIGADE

…I don’t know, what do you want to do?

Weekends are very precious to us in our family. This is because Pat works during the day, and then I go to school at night. We are like two passing ships in the dark of the night, trying to navigate the rough waters of the world…or not, whatever.
So I was thinking that we should do something fun and exciting this weekend to celebrate our ships docking into a safe harbor for a restful and enchanting three days and nights…did that sound sexual to anyone? No? Just me then.
Here’s what I was thinking we should do:

• Go to the San Diego Zoo

• Book a space trip with NASA

• Go to Disneyland

• Go to the mountains and play in the snow (is there still snow on the mountains?)

• Build a water slide out of our bedroom window

• Get one of these things, and take turns jumping off the roof

• Go to the dog beach, fly a kite, and watch Zoey lick the sand

• Go to the Aquarium of the Pacific

• Or we can get our tea leaves read…although tea gives me the trots.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
